Wednesday, just like Monday, but later

I’m completely unable to write today.

Could be writer’s block.

Could be the nonstop frenzy of Dora the Explorer going on in my living room, as Peyton is feeling cruddy post chemo yesterday.

Therefore, I leave you with the reminder to watch Oprah today!

And this message of mental health. MY mental health.

    Hey A,
Hope Peyton starts to feel better. She is almost there.
I am going to miss Oprah today, so bummed. Do you think there will be a link to the story? Hope so.
Thinking of you. Enjoy your 15 seconds. This is just the beginning my friend.
    Love,
    L

    Anissa,
We have yet to meet, but just a little while ago when I saw your face on Oprah, I jumped up and said “That’s Anissa, Peyton’s Mom!” as if we were life-long friends. It is funny, because I haven’t been on your site in some time and had no idea you were going to be on Oprah. Or that I would recognize you from pictures I have seen on this site!! It was exciting to see you and you did a wonderful job on camera!! I will keep up with Peyton again as I see she is in treatment again. I will pray for her to keep up the good fight. I am heading to Washington DC in the morning for the 60 mile breast cancer 3Day walk. I am excited and nervous about the event. I did send in my information to volunteer at the Children’s Hospital after attending Justin’s Run and then learning about Peyton. Hopefully that will come to fruition sometime this year and we will meet. You are an inspiration to many through your words. Congrats on being on Oprah!! Very cool!!

    Hey Girl-
Saw you on Oprah-I forgot you were going to be on-I am sitting there watching with my oldest-I sit up when I saw you and said “that is Anissa! I know her”. My daughter said from where and I said she is one of my internet blog friends.” I now know what you sound like! What you had to say was all very true and you were so pen and honest. Thanks for that. I thought the show probably had nothing to do with me-but I was wrong-I reached my breaking point with being a wife to a wounded soldier as well as being that perfect mom last November-It was a huge wake up call for me-I am still not back to me but I am getting there. and hopefully I will learn how to deal with stress better.
It was good to see you!

OK, these last two entries make me really want to hear what you had to say on Oprah. I don’t think there’s any chance of it showing here in the UK any time soon – so could you PLEASE put a link to it through your blog. I’m sure there must be a way this is possible.

BTW, did you enjoy your few minutes of fame dahling! Or were you a gibbering mass of nerves like most of us would have been! Whichever, I’m sure you did a wonderful job. Like always you will have spoken from the heart.

Take care my friend – go wrap your sanity in cotton wool for a few days and treat it gently until it recovers it’s normal healthy outlook! Sending Peyton a big hug and hoping she’s feeling better by tomorrow.

I had to work, because customers think that I am there to help them or something. So I missed Oprah. Is there a link.

As for you Your Majesty Princess Peyton, I am praying that you feel better fast.
