Fall Shmall

It seems like everywhere I look it’s “HEY, Welcome to fall! Aren’t you thrilled about the changing seasons! The pretty colors!! The crisp air!!! The upcoming holiday season!!!!! The mad overuse of exclamation points!!!!”

It was 90 degrees in Tampa yesterday, people.  It’s all palm trees, all the time.

I’m having a remarkable amount of trouble getting into the swing of the season.

I leave you with this.

MEH.

I will gladly trade you my “crisp” (way too cold) air for your palm trees. My son had to wear thermal underwear to his baseball game the other day. I miss my flip-flops. Changing seasons are over rated. Bring back my summer!!

No WAY would I trade the crispness of fall for year round summer-esque weather. Sorry dude. Quick, grab a sweater and jeans and meet me in Ontario. It’s beautiful here!

I love the crisp air! But, it’s better to embrace it than hate it, I live in Colorado! Today’s high….42.

This is the *only* time I miss being up north. In two weeks, it’s back to too darn cold for anything fun up there.

I’ll stick to hanging Christmas lights in my shorts!

I tried making one of those gross pumpkins two years ago…. not as easy as it looks!

Out here in sunny california….. I feel ya. It’s not Christmas without your flip flops.

LOVES it! I remember those lovely days from living in Brandon and working in Tampa and I thought I couldn’t wait to live somewhere that had seasons. Yeah, then I moved to a Southern state that has all seasons and I don’t love the cold so much. Been here nearly 2yrs and still don’t care for it:) P/S: Grew up in TX so you’d think I’d be used to the heat year round while living in FL but nope – not the same type of heat.

    This is too funny!

And you’re very brave to carve pumpkins this early in Florida…we wait until the 31st or the smell makes us feel like your bottom pumpkin!

I had to turn on the heat today and I’m still not warm because I’m too cheap to turn it on high enough.

You can have our colorful, crunchy leaves and “crisp” air. I want to be warm again.
