Daddy’s new “special” friend

It’s LONELY being apart from your family for so long…it’s been over a year now that Peter’s lived in Alabama while we house down in Florida.

So, the kids and I got him a very special friend.

I hope they’ll be very happy together.

I really hope that Jeff doesn’t read your blog today. He’s SOOO going to want one of those! Glad Pete has a new friend to keep him company while he’s away.

My son would trade his sister for that in an instant, I’m afraid.

I love that little guy. My son would totally love his own R2. But I agree with you, it would be better if he knew how to make a martini.

That thing is too awesome. I’ll never forget when I filled out this magazine offer for an R2D2 necklace, because it had moving parts and was the coolest thing ever (or maybe nerdiest). My dad saw it lying around and mailed it in with the check for $2 or whever it was. I love R2 🙂

What a fantastic geek gift! Jeff’s 40th was last November, and I only gave him the Nerf Vulcan. R2 so trumps a Nerf machine gun!

For reference, years ago – before children – Jeff and I bought ourselves the Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia. For our anniversary. Yes, we are such romantics at heart!

R2 wasn’t looking for the Vodka – R2 was looking for the GIN.
