We are home

Well, after all that convincing that we would be staying at the hospital until counts came up, we were sent home…even though counts went down this morning.

I guess we were not doing anything there that we couldn't do at home, so they decided to boot us out so more critical kids could come in. Her last x-ray looked good and her mouth sores are healing, so we can treat everything else at home.

Her counts are still very low, and her immune system is still bottom of the barrel at 30, so she is on complete lockdown. But at least we are locked down at home!

Thank you all so much for the constant support though this very rough and emotional week, I cannot repeat enough how much strength I pull from the wonderful encouragement of your words.

Yay, Peyton–I bet you are so glad to be home!! Anissa, I know it's been a long battle for you and it's not over yet but you guys are doing awesome and I continue to hold you all in my thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry to hear about your little friend Sierra Kesler. I extend my sympathies to them in their time of this heartbreaking loss. Enjoy being home, guys! Sincerely, Lori

I am so glad you guys are home. I loved the picture of storytime at the All Childrens Resort:) and the stories of Zack ordering food for Peyton that was to funny.
Also I havent had a chance to write but I have been doing the Happy Dance since I read that there is NO CANCER.
Give yourself and Peyton a big hug from me and Katie and just try to relax a little and work on getting her better.

    Talk to you soon

Welcome home girls!! I'm sure there were two very happy kids to welcome you home. Hopefully this will be a great week of healing for Miss Peyton. I guess it sucks that you're the room service now.
    Love & Prayers

My little Caitlyn bug is feeling much better too, and thats a good thing because she was able to eat her birthday cake on Sunday. Her mouth sores are just about gone and no fever for a few days. Life is good!! Relax and spend lots of fun time with Peyton as she gets better real soon! My prayer are with you and all the familys with sick children.. Give Peyton a big hug from Caitlyn and me!! God Bless!!
