The Miami that Will Smith didn’t sing about

As the family Mayhew is temporarily relocated to Miami for the next few days, preparing to celebrate the life of one amazing Grandma E, there may be few chances for me to actually make an update.  I hope to, I think this week may be FULL of wacked-out interesting events that are blogworthy, but family is always first and this week especially.

Grandma, you’ll be loved and missed. We’ll see you soon.

    How cute is Grandma?
My grandma’s kind of , well, really grumpy. So I love to see grandmas who actually smile.

How fantastic to get to 99 and she looks great. I hope I still have enough verve left in me to want to paint my nails in my mid 90’s. Or was that you just pricticing for your nail bar very early on!! (Actually I just hope to still be here in my mid 90’s)!!
Hope you can enjoy getting the family together to celebrate her life without too much sadness. When you think of all the changes she lived through it certainly deserves to be celebrated.
Take care and hope your Dad feels better soon.

What a wonderful heritage and life to celebrate… I have really emphasized to our boys how important it is to enjoy and celebrate their grandparents and great grandparents… some of them are so very special and so full of wisdom and love…

even if the kids are too young to remember. . . you have pictures and stories to fill their hearts of Grandma.

SUCH great pictures. I need to stop with the snotty kid pictures and get some with FAMILY!!

WOW! I love Gramdma, and your kids are so stinking cute. Thanks for sharing these. They made me smile, and think that I need to visit my own Nana.
